Library-Media Services

The K-5 library curriculum supports ELA Common Core standards through research and library skills.  We collaborate with grade level teams to support reading, science and social studies curricula through read-a-loud segment and library lessons incorporating technology and 21^st century learning skills.

Each class in grades K-5 visits the library once a week for 45 minutes.  Classes generally consist of a classroom subject related read-a-loud, library lesson, and independent book selection and checkout.
